Murray Local Land Services recently facilitated fencing training for 12 local Aboriginal people.

The training was run by the Aboriginal Rural Training Program (ARTP) who offer culturally appropriate vocational education and training for Aboriginal organisations and communities.

The training aimed to upskill local individuals and Aboriginal Working Groups in the installation, maintenance & repair of farm fencing. Completion of the training will allow local Aboriginal Working Groups and individuals to competently undertake various fencing projects over the next year as part of the Ramsar project.
