The statements below apply to any content such as pages, documents, videos, images, sound files and computer code created by Local Land Services for this website

WCAG2.0 compliance

Local Land Services aims to make website content available to the widest possible audience and is actively working towards WCAG2.0 AA compliance.

Already a large number of improvements have been made to address accessibility issues in both HTML and PDF content on our website and a great deal of progress has been made.

PDF files

Local Land Services uses PDF (portable document format) files on this website. These files require Adobe Acrobat Reader (free software) to be installed on your computer before they can be read.

The department takes care to ensure PDF files comply with accessibility criteria before being placed on the listed websites. Each PDF file is subjected to a full accessibility check in Adobe Acrobat and where feasible, all identified accessibility issues are resolved.

Many PDF publications are also accompanied by an introductory HTML page that gives a summary of the contents of the PDF.

If you are unable to use a PDF file from this site we encourage you to:

  • Contact us to request a more accessible version of the content.
  • Convert the PDF files using the online conversion service offered at the Adobe website. This service converts Acrobat PDF files to plain text or HTML via email.

Comments and feedback
