Flooding and severe weather support for farm forestry

The NSW Government has announced a $100 million Critical Producer Grants program to help primary producers impacted by the recent severe weather and flooding.

This package will provide financial assistance to Private Native Forestry (PNF) and timber plantation operators that were directly impacted by the February and March 2022 NSW Severe Weather and Flooding events, to assist with damage repair, job security, and building resilience to reduce the impact of future adverse events.

Through the Critical Producer Grants, eligible PNF Plan holders and businesses can apply for:

  • replacement and/or restoration of key physical assets
  • the costs of road and snig track stabilisation and/or sediment control.
  • the costs of groundcover re-establishment and/or erosion sedimentation control.

How do I apply?

Applications close on 30 September 2023 at 5:00 pm.
