Explore ESG and what it can do for you
15 Feb 2024
“With an increasing emphasis on ESG reporting within the agricultural industry, many producers are left with questions, confusion and an overload of information to decipher,” said Garry Armstrong, Team Leader Agricultural Production.
“ESG: What’s in it for me will help attendees understand what ESG is, what it means for landholders, what opportunities exist to capitalise on, how you can get involved, and give advice on steps that can be taken to establish farmer groups for future action.”
Event organisers are pleased to offer a range of speakers to our local farming community including Sara Hely of farming systems group Riverine Plains, Cam Nicholson a farmer and consultant in ESG, Soil Carbon and other areas, and representatives from MLA, and industry corporates, as well as guests from the banking sector and local farmers.
“We are excited to be able to host this event and encourage all local farmers and landholders to come long on Wednesday March 6, at the Finley Returned Soldiers Club from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm,” said Mr Armstrong.
“This is a great opportunity to chat to your Local Land Services team, hear from experts in the field, and talk to farmers who are already going through the process to implement ESG on their land.”
