The Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT) is seeking landholders with at least 100ha of primary Plains-wanderer habitat on their property to participate in a conservation tender.

Many landholders in the NSW Riverina are already committed to helping to recover Plains-wanderers. This conservation tender has been designed to work in tandem with the current Local Land Services (LLS) managed Plains-wanderer program, which has been running since 2017 and provides upfront funding for a range of management actions.

Landholders successful in the BCT tender will receive annual payments for long term commitment to protect and manage habitat in an ideal condition.

Expression of Interests will be open from 2 - 30 of November 2020.

Full details of the tender will be published in September 2020 on the BCT website.

If you would like to be notified when full details become available, please provide your name, phone number and email to info@bct.nsw.gov.au

In the meantime, you can contact BCT staff Dieuwer Reynders 0437 574 703 or Nigel Jones 0428 401 439.
