Join us for a FREE soils workshop with Greg Bowman and Roy Lawrie, two soil specialists from the Soil Knowledge Network.
Topics include:
- understanding soil capabilities and constraints
- accessing online resources
- what is a soil profile?
- undertaking field-based soil testing
- soil types and potential for erosion
- soil structure issues, land capability and land class
- comparing soil types at two different sites
- identifying sodicity
Bring a hat, sunscreen and appropriate footwear as we will be in the field looking at soil profiles.
