Meet Bob Smith Board Chair

Bob has a 40-year background in the delivery of sustainable management and the use of natural resources. Robert has extensive experience in the management and evaluation of community businesses and government, private sector, and community interactions. This is Bob’s second term as Chair of the North Coast Local Land Services Board.

We recently asked Bob why he nominated to be on this board.

‘I have a long-time professional interest and participation in organisations focussing on sustainability incorporating economic, environmental, and social criteria.

Local Land Services is empowered to take a holistic approach to restore landscapes’ environmental capacity and supporting healthy, productive, and profitable agricultural activities. The integrated design and delivery of Local Land Services programs offer innovative opportunities to create change that benefits people now and in future.’
