Moxey Farms
Moxey Farms, located in the central west of NSW, has invested over $50 million dollars to support continued growth and innovation. This included installing a new pivot irrigation system which required removing isolated paddock trees.
Approval was provided through the Farm Plan section of the Land Management (Native Vegetation) Code.
"So far the legislation has been good, it's provided the flexibility we needed to move forward with some significant projects. Compared to the old legislation, the opportunities that exist with the new regime has allowed us to be a bit more creative around how we set the farm out. I think it opens up the doors to the types of irrigation infrastructure we can put in."
