African Boxthorn Workshop - Wanganella
Murray Local Land Services, CSIRO and Edward River Council extend an invitation to landholders and stakeholders to attend a free integrated African Boxthorn management.
“An integrated approaching, combining multiple techniques is generally the most effective way to control pests and weeds in the long term.”
The event will include:
- a presentation by Dr Ben Gooden on the release of a rust fungus for the
control of boxthorn, and - a demonstration on how to release the rust on your property.
Dean Irwin from Edward River Council will be discussing:
- The best methods for both mechanical and chemical control of boxthorn.
- Current legislation and landholder’s responsibilities
