Traditional knowledge sharing workshop
Western Local Land Services invites community members in the Buronga – Euston region to participate in a free workshop aimed at sharing stories and cultural knowledge between community members of all ages.
Workshop agenda:
- Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony
- Walking tour of the area with Traditional Owner providing oral history
- Site identification and recording.
- Morning - billy tea and/or coffee with scones and jam
- Opportunity for community to share stories, cultural knowledge and life experiences in an inclusive, relaxed environment
- Lunch – including a chance to try traditional foods (or sandwiches for the not so brave).
What to bring:
- Suitable footwear and warm clothing
- Hat
- Chair
How to get there:
Courtesy buses will be operating from the Mildura Information Visitor Centre at 9:00am and Buronga Midway community centre at 9:15am.
