Northern NSW and Southern QLD Drought Resilience Hub

Northern NSW and Southern Qld Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub (the Hub)

For some farmers, the rain is falling, there are bumper yields and prices are at record highs, so you may think we are a little crazy wanting to talk about drought. But there has never been a better time to start thinking about building your drought resilience.

The Regenerative Agriculture Alliance at Southern Cross University is asking for your input to help determine the focus and activities for the Northern NSW and Southern Qld Hub between 2022-2024. This Hub is one of eight across Australia aimed at improving drought resilience and improving agricultural innovation.

As a valued landholder in the bioregion, it is crucial that your voice is heard to shape the drought resilience priorities. Your local knowledge will ensure the Hub funding creates real impact and that research is useful, practical and relevant to farmers and supports opportunities to commercialise agricultural innovation in the region.

Take our 10-minute survey to help shape Hub priorities.
