Silviculture and Biodiversity - TAFE NSW Training

This skill set is for landholders and forestry industry employees who are interested in expanding their knowledge and skills for managing forests. You will learn about how you can harvest your forest in a sustainable way while protecting threatened species from harm.

Overview

This course will cover two nationally recognised units of competency:

  1. Apply sustainable silviculture treatments (FWPSIL3001)
  2. Apply biodiversity protection principles (FWPCOT3313).
