Erosion Revisited - Paddock walk - Michelago

Land managers in the Monaro district are invited to join us for a free information session about erosion control.

The session will showcase installed erosion control structures and different control methods and how they address erosion issues. Information will be provided on the application, cost, and drawbacks of the different control structures as well as other practical measures landholders can undertake on their property to control and prevent erosion.  The day will involve a walking tour of erosion control works.

Topics covered will include:

  • the causes of gully erosion and when erosion becomes a concerned
  • demonstrations of erosion control structures and other practical control methods.

Please come prepared for a field walk. Morning tea will be included.
