Pasture plant ID: Walk and workshop | Lithgow/Hartley

Join us to learn about common pasture plants growing in the Lithgow and Mudgee area.

We will look at the features on local grasses, clovers and broad leaf weeds in paddocks this year, focusing on native grasses.

At the Lithgow-Hartley event we will discuss the Living on the Edge project - working with landholders to manage threats and protect the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.

What to bring

Bring pasture plants that you would like identified (in a sealed plastic bag) plus a hat, sturdy shoes and water.

Please ensure your vehicle and boots are clean.

What is provided

Lunch is provided. There will be an opportunity to discuss your pastures over lunch.

This project is supported by Central Tablelands Local Land Services through funding from the Australian Government's National Landcare Program.
