Design your farm - understanding your context: Taree
Are you ready to turn your farm vision into reality? Partnering with Mid Coast Council, we've got a great opportunity for Manning Great-Lakes landholders to join a flexible, five workshop series on 'Designing Your Farm'.
You can attend all five, or tailor your learning and pick from the different topics on offer.
Available in both Taree and Gloucester regions and delivered between March and May workshop topics include:
- Understanding your context
- Finding your starting point
- Intersecting natural areas and productive zones
- Designing to keep out pests
- Knowledge to action: landscape design fundamentals

Develop a clear understanding of your farm’s current resources and identify key opportunities for improvement.
Workshop 2: Finding your starting point

Assess your soil, water, and land capability to identify your farm’s key assets and challenges and create a foundation for your design.
Workshop 3: Intersecting natural areas and productive zones

Enhance your farm’s biodiversity, integrate natural systems, and respect cultural heritage while maximizing productivity.
Workshop 4: Designing to keep out pests
May 1 - Taree

Develop a practical, tailored biosecurity and pest management plan to safeguard your farm's health and productivity.
Workshop 5: Knowledge to action: Landscape design fundamentals
May 22 - Taree
May 23 - Gloucester
Leave with a comprehensive farm design and a clear action plan, including your farm's ideal layout and a roadmap to bring it to life.
