Welcome to Central Tablelands Local Land Services newest board member

Local Land Services is this month welcoming a new board member to help shape the strategic direction of the organisation in the Central Tablelands.

Casey Dunn has almost 20 years’ experience as a corporate affairs specialist for agri-food and fibre industries. She has extensive experience advising boards across a range of agribusiness industries and organisational structures.

Casey has a detailed awareness and experience in corporate governance best practice through her role as a manager in the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

Casey holds a Bachelor of Science (Resource and Environmental Management) and Graduate Diploma of Government.

Casey is one of 22 Local Land Services board members across the state recently appointed by the Minister for Agriculture and Western Dugald Saunders.

The Central Tablelands Board also welcomes the reappointment of Donna Rygate.

Central Tablelands Chair Ian Rogan says board succession is an important part of our strategic commitment to growing Local Land Services.

“Local Land Services boards support our on-ground work focused on securing the long-term sustainability of our natural resources and agricultural industries in NSW,” said Ian Rogan.

“While we are keen to welcome Casey and her fresh perspective to the board, and Donna’s reappointment, I also want to acknowledge the experience and commitment of our outgoing board member Tess Herbert who will finish up in March.”

“Tess has provided invaluable input to shape our board decisions and strategic support to our frontline staff and customers and we wish her well for the future.”

Local Land Services boards are made up of a mix of ministerially appointed and elected members, with staggered terms to ensure consistent ongoing leadership is provided to the organisation.
