Monaro Soil and Geology Tour
Are you interested in learning about the origins of the Monaro’s landscape and Soils?
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Leah Moore (ANU - Fenner School) and Peter Fogarty’s (Soil Knowledge Network) to the Monaro to lead a tour for locals to discover how our soils were formed and the geological events that preceded them.
Join the bus tour which will include discussions on:
- Granite boulder country,
- Monaro basalts and associated natural lakes,
- Snowy Mountains geology, and
- Soil characteristics from across the region.
