Pest animal workshops offer an opportunity to meet professional wild dog controllers

Landholders have a great opportunity to meet with a number of the Professional Wild Dog Controllers (PWDC) who will be working with Western Local Land Services and landholders to support the control of wild dogs on their property in 2020.

The PWDC will also target known hot spots to reduce the impact of problem wild dogs on the land, livestock and livelihood of landholders in the Western region.

In addition to the meet and greet and update on the PWDC program, the workshops will offer an update on the ‘Western Tracks’ collaring project which is focusing on wild dogs and feral pigs, an update from the NSW Wild Dog Fence Extension project manager, and give landholders the chance to provide some strategic direction to assist Western Local Land Services map out ‘hot spots’ of wild dog activity in their local area.
