Traditional knowledge sharing workshop

Western Local Land Services invites community members in the Buronga – Euston region to participate in a free workshop aimed at sharing stories and cultural knowledge between community members of all ages.

Workshop agenda:

  • Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony
  • Walking tour of the area with Traditional Owner providing oral history
  • Site identification and recording.
  • Morning - billy tea and/or coffee with scones and jam
  • Opportunity for community to share stories, cultural knowledge and life experiences in an inclusive, relaxed environment
  • Lunch – including a chance to try traditional foods (or sandwiches for the not so brave).

What to bring:

  • Suitable footwear and warm clothing
  • Hat
  • Chair

How to get there:

Courtesy buses will be operating from the Mildura Information Visitor Centre at 9:00am and Buronga Midway community centre at 9:15am.
