Sheep reproduction workshop (near Cobar)
Livestock producers are encouraged to attend an upcoming workshop where Geoff Duddy from Sheep Solutions will look at all aspects of the sheep reproduction cycle and methods to optimise reproduction rates in pastoral sheep flocks.
The workshops discuss aspects of the sheep reproductive cycle and look at methods to optimize reproductive rates in Pastoral sheep flocks. Key topics include:
- the who, what, when, where of sheep reproduction
- the value of scanning
- ewe management prior to and during lambing
- breeding more resilient sheep
- condition scoring and general nutrition.
