Pasture walks and plant identification events

Join us for a day in the paddock with Martin Driver, Ecologist, Project Manager with the Australian Network for Plant Conservation and owner of Conargo property “Barrabool”.

The day will focus on understanding native pastures, how to identify native plants and the benefits of retaining native plants on your property. Please bring along any plants you’d like identified.

Dates and locations 

  • Thursday 20 May at “Dijoe”, near Cobar
  • Saturday 22 May at “Coogee Lakes”, near Topar
  • Monday 24 May at “Wyndham Station” near Wentworth
  • Tuesday 25 May at “Bellevue” Ivanhoe.

Details

Workshops will start at 9 am and finish around 2 pm. Please RSVP to Max Brownlow on the details provided for catering purposes (morning tea and lunch provided).

Participants are asked to bring hat, sunscreen, drinking water and field wear/shoes. This project is supported by Western Local Land Services through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
