Kids teaching kids enviro stories every bit counts

Envirostories

Enviro-Stories involves students learning about their local area and passing this knowledge on to others through storytelling.

The program has proven to be a simple but effective concept that enables sponsors to engage students from throughout their region.

Enviro-Stories provides an educational experience for the purpose of creating school readers that have been written and illustrated about local issues.

Kids can read stories written by kids about issues faced by small landholders, such as pest animals and water quality:

  • A Bird’s Eye View
  • The Catastrophe
  • The Solution for Pollution
  • A Foxy Problem
  • Aunty Nerrida and the Cane Toad
  • Rubbish in the River
