Foot & Mouth Disease And Lumpy Skin Disease Information Session (Denman)

Please join Hunter Local Land Services for an information session on foot and mouth disease (FMD) and lumpy skin disease (LSD).

The sessions will cover:

• Signs to look out for (FMD and LSD)
• How the diseases are transmitted
• Preventative steps to implement on farm
• What happens if a case of FMD or LSD is diagnosed in Australia.
• What is a livestock standstill in response to a case of FMD (or other emergency animal diseases)
• The importance of the national livestock identification system (NLIS) and tracing in an outbreak.
