Post flooding pasture and fodder options
Join us for a half day workshop with former District Agronomist and Technical Specialist in pastures and forage, Neil Griffiths, to hear about:
* the pastures that might survive a flood
* the differences between Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter floods
* replanting- how, when and what to plant?
* how to sow- seeding rates and fertilizer
* weeds after a flood
* cautions for pasture improvement
* using and buying hay or silage after a flood

This event will provide the opportunity for you to ask questions, discuss and subject to conditions, take part in a a flooded paddock walk.
Cost is free but registration is essential. Tea, coffee and water will be provided.
