TSR management permit changes
07 Apr 2021
Central West Local Land Services is moving from an annual grazing permit system on Travelling Stock Reserves (TSRs) to a four year system to be more consistent state-wide and provide certainty for permit holders.
The previous annual Expression of Interest process will be replaced with an application process which is set to open later this month.
Central West Local Land Services team leader Peta Holcombe said the four year permits had been introduced in other regions previously and proved successful.
"The change in permits for TSR's in our region follows a state-wide process and has being implemented to create consistency for our customers across the state as well as provide permit holders with certainty for the four year length of the agreement," Ms Holcombe said.
Livestock producers across the Central West region will be invited to apply for the four year Management Agreement Permits on suitable reserves in late April and May.
Applications will be assessed using a comprehensive criteria and permits issued to the successful applicants to begin in July.
Further information will be available on this website.
The Management Agreement Permits will be advertised in the North West and Western magazines as well as on our website when available.
