Sheep genetics workshop - Postponed

Join Central West LLS along with Sue Hatcher of Makin’ Outcomes at Trangie Research Station to learn about your sheep genetic needs.

Topics covered include:

• Value of Genetics within a breeding flock
• Setting Breeding Objectives (traits of importance and selection methods)
• Introduction to ASBVs (Australian Sheep Breeding Values) and Selection Indexes
• Ram selection ASBV activity.

This is a free event, with morning tea & lunch provided.

Please bring a water bottle and wear enclosed shoes.
