Regent Honeyeater and weed control workshop

Join us for an informative workshop about:

  • understanding the plight of the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater and how you can assist with its recovery. Coolah is a priority area in the Central West for the Regent
  • how to identify and control the huge growth of weeds such as St John’s Wort and Blue Heliotrope in the Coolah region
  • discussion about biological weed control agents to assist with weed management (not available on the day)
  • impacts of weeds on livestock production and stock health.

Guest speakers include:

  • Andy Fletcher, Senior Biosecurity Weeds Officer, Macquarie Castlereagh County Council
  • Benn Bryant, District Veterinarian – Central West Local Land Services
  • Libby McIntyre, Land Services Officer – Central West Local Land Services.
