Community Advisory Groups

As a requirement of the Local Land Services Act, each local Local Land Services board has established one or more local community advisory groups for its region.

Community advisory group members are suitably qualified to serve on the group and representative of the interests of the local community and stakeholders in the region.

The groups work with members of the Local Land Services board on key issues related to agriculture, plant and animal biosecurity, emergency management and natural resource management.

The groups are intended to provide high level advice to Local Land Services on the full range of its services and functions. They form a key part of Local Land Services' community engagement framework and help guide the strategic direction of Hunter Local Land Services.
