Small Farm Property Planning Workshop and Field Day | Burra
Small Farm operators in are invited to attend the South East Local Land Services Field Day and Workshop on Small Farm Property Planning.
Topics include:
- Preparing and implementing a property plan
- Assessing natural resources and infrastructure
- Setting goals
- Understanding land class and constraints
- On-farm Biosecurity and weed management.
Participants will receive resources to assist in their planning process, including a laminated map of their property to begin their own farm planning journey.
Both sessions will include opportunities to share experiences and ask questions to help all attending make the right choices for their own situation.
You are encouraged to attend both sessions – the sessions are free, but places are limited and bookings are required.
Workshop:
The Workshop will be held on Saturday 10 June 2023 from 9 am -3 pm including lunch at the Burra Community Hall.
Field Day:
The Field Day will be held on Saturday 17 June 2023 from 9 am -1 pm, followed by lunch on a private property at Burra.
