Swift parrot identification and habitat management workshop | Eugowra
Central West Local Land Services invites you to join us for a Swift Parrot information morning session.
Agenda:
- 8:30 am – 9:45 am: Speakers in Club
- 9:45 am – 10:15 am: Smoko
- 10:15 am – 11:30 am: Field walk and discussion.
The speakers and the group discussion will give you the skills to a make your farms more bird friendly.
Jayden Gunn, the Central NSW Woodland Birds Project Coordinator for BirdLife Australia will be discussing all things Swift Parrot and woodland bird conservation.
Scott Hickman, Facilitator for Mid Lachlan Landcare’s growing the Grazing Revolution, will give us his insights on how we can graze our woodlands profitably and also encourage native vegetation regeneration.
There will also be a local weeds officer from Weddin and Cabonne Shires to speak on weed identification and invasive weeds.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing for a paddock walk.
