Yabby Festival - World Wetlands Day
Bring along the whole family on Sunday, 26th February 2023, to celebrate World Wetlands Day.
Book a seat on the bus to our favourite yabby spot in the Koondrook-Perricoota Forest. Hear from industry experts on the importance of restoring our wetlands and recreational fishing compliance and discover the best way to catch and cook yabbies.
The bus leaves at 8:30 am from Murray Connect and returns at 12:30 pm, where we will cook up our yummy yabby feast.
Don't forget to bring gumboots/old sneakers, a broad-brim hat, insect repellent, drinking water and a chair.
The Yabby Festival is a partnership event with Western Murray Land Improvement Group & Murray Local Land Services.
