Coolatai grass awareness workshop - Bulga

Hunter Local Land Services along with Landcare are facilitating 3 community workshops in the Singleton LGA to raise awareness of invasive grass species with particular discussion around Coolatai grass.

These workshops will provide land managers with identification skills on Coolatai grass and high priority invasives species along with common look-a-likes! Other areas that will be discussed include:

• Weed management including herbicide control
• Pasture and livestock management
• Property biosecurity and hygiene
• Draft Hunter Regional Strategic Weed Management Plan
• Landholder responsibilities in weed management
• Round table discussion.

Spaces are limited with priority given to primary producers followed by community group members.
